By the end of the course, participants will have the skills to produc AI-enhanced storybooks on platforms like Amazon, turning creativity into a business opportunity.

Prof. Maya Iman is a New York-based educator, creative technologist, and proud mother of three with over 10 years of experience in education. She currently teaches Algebra 2 and 3D World Building in the NYC public school system, where she integrates virtual reality and culturally responsive pedagogy to reimagine how math is taught. Her approach has improved Regents and state exam scores for students from New York City to Paterson, NJ, transforming math class into a joyful, empowering experience.
As a Senior TA & AI Innovation Architect with School at Night, Prof. Iman helps adult learners build confidence in tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, and more. She is proficient in prompt engineering and applies it across creative, instructional, and editing programs.
As Lead Editor with SkillhouseU Publishing, she guides each project from its initial concept to the final printed work; creating vivid, high-quality imagery and managing the team that transforms manuscripts into market-ready books. She contributed to the recent publication of Legends, Hoops, & Heart: Where Every Kid Has a Role to Play (available on Amazon), the first children’s book released under the School at Night imprint.
Prof. Iman holds a B.A. in Math & Art and a Master’s in Mathematics Education. She’s a proud faculty member of The Black upStart and host of the Not Just a Motha podcast.
